About Julie

Julie M. Maxey is an Associate Attorney with the Universal Law Group PLLC. Her practice focuses on Personal Injury litigation, General Civil Litigation, and Criminal Defense. Julie graduated from Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts in History, and she received her Juris Doctorate from Regent University School of Law. During her time at Regent Law, Julie served on the Alternative Dispute Resolution Board. Throughout her career, Julie has gained broad experience through practicing transactional law, criminal prosecution, criminal defense, and civil litigation. Julie loves being in the courtroom and fighting to get justice for her clients. In her time away from work, Julie enjoys time with her family and cheering on the Houston Astros and the Houston Dash.
