About Patrick
Patrick is a business attorney with nearly a decade of experience representing and advising clients faced with diverse and unique legal challenges. His practice focuses on commercial disputes and general business matters, including business transactions and litigation, business formation, contract drafting, corporate law, trademark litigation, and appellate litigation.
Patrick practices in both state and federal court and has served clients ranging from high-net-worth individuals to multi-national financial services institutions, independent specialty finance companies, lender service providers, investment banks, accounting firms, software development companies, construction and technology-based enterprises, energy and oil and gas companies, manufacturing and distribution companies, corporate officers and directors, and real estate-based entities.
In addition to his litigation practice, Patrick also has experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts and working on corporate transactional matters. He has formed domestic and foreign legal entities, including limited liability companies and non-profit corporations. Patrick also provides legal advice to clients on issues concerning existing contracts, as well as negotiation and redlining proposed changes, and drafting of new contracts and agreements.
Patrick is a native of Kingsville, Texas and a proud alumni of Texas A&M University-Kingsville where he graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance. He began his career by working at the regional headquarters of an international bank in downtown Austin, Texas. He eventually moved to Houston where he received his law degree from South Texas College of Law. Patrick has lived and worked in Houston, Texas for the past 12 years.
Prior to law school, Patrick served 8 years in the United States Army Reserve. He served in both the 887th Quartermaster Company in Alice, Texas and in the 370th Transportation Company, Detachment 1 in NAS Kingsville.
