About Anna
Anna Dean Kamins has a 20-year legal career representing plaintiffs seeking redress in various types of civil suits, including personal injury, wrongful death, insurance disputes, mass torts, and class actions. Anna has handled all aspects of civil litigation, ranging from commercial contract disputes and insurance bad faith to environmental work hazards and transportation injuries. She has represented clients for injuries ranging from birth defects due to antidepressants to severe injuries caused by NSAIDs, birth control and diabetes medications. She has also represented consumers nationwide in class action lawsuits involving breach of contract, hidden surcharges, and deceptive advertising.
Anna’s background is in the sciences. She graduated with honors from Loyola University of New Orleans with a dual degree in biology and chemistry. Subsequently, she obtained a Master of Public Health from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine. She earned her law degree from University of Houston Law Center, where she was a Dean’s Merit Scholarship recipient.
Anna believes strongly in the American legal system and the right to trial by jury. She is a member of the American Association for Justice and the Houston Trial Lawyers Association. She is licensed to practice in the states of Texas and Mississippi and several federal courts around the country.
